perception of perdition

all my life
put people ahead of me
if I was a step to reaching my goals
and someone was to falter
without thought
I'd assist him, no hesitation

those around me are more important
than my goals.
I strongly believe if you are successful
but you forget the people behind you
all the while
you are the worst scum on the face of this earth.
Selfish, unrelenting.

but now it seems I have been tried

childish one, there are 2 types of stubborn people in this world.
Those with the refusal to give in to obstacles, will not budge to pressure. They go far.
Those who refuse to give in to anything and absolutely everything, even to those who care, these are the stupidly stubborn. This is what ruins people, look in the mirror my friend.

Time will reveal, all that glitters is not gold.
